Privacy Policy
This page explains, in plain words, what Mahbao collects and why. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@mahbao.com.
Who we are
Mahbao is operated by United Cn Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. We are the data controller for mahbao.com.
What we collect
- Waitlist: the email address you give us, the language you were using and the time you signed up. We use it only to tell you when the app and tournaments open.
- Server logs: IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept for up to 30 days for security and to keep the site running.
- Puzzle and game data: when accounts launch, your answers and results will be stored so we can compute your rating and skill profile. Version 1 has no accounts and stores none of this.
Cookies
Mahbao uses functional cookies and local storage only (for example to remember your language or keep a session). We do not use advertising cookies, and version 1 includes no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Where your data lives
Data is stored on servers located in Hong Kong. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties except service providers that host our infrastructure.
Age
Mahbao is for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, please do not use the site or give us your email. If we learn that we hold data about a child under 13, we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, including removing you from the waitlist. Email hello@mahbao.com and we will act within 30 days. When accounts launch, deletion will also be available from inside your account.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
